Our Special Feature: FRANTZ MOSANTO

On November 19th we had the honor to
welcome the international renown Haitian painter Frantz Mosanto at our
gallery. Gilbert had met Mosanto the first time at an exhibition in
Petionville and of course didn't miss the opportunity to invite him to our
own gallery. However we were surprised, when Frantz Mosanto indeed
followed our invitation.
He seemed even impressed by the great variety of our paintings and
handicrafts, and so he finally gave us a few of his original paintings to
show them in our own gallery. You can imagine how Gilbert felt, when he
could hold one of those famous paintings in his own hands, which he had so
far only known from art catalogues. After lots of questions and some
drinks at the nearby bar, Mosanto had to leave, because he had to prepare
for an exhibition in Columbia the next week. But he didn't leave without
promising us to visit us again soon, when he would return from Columbia in
December.
Therefore we are now able to offer you
some genuine paintings of Frantz Mosanto for a really special price. Keep
in mind that these are no cheap copies, but original paintings made and
signed by Mosanto himself.
